Kayla Davis is currently a freshman at Cal State Long Beach. She is from Central California; in between Fresno and Yosemite National Park so she lives on campus in Parkside. Kayla is majoring in business hoping to one day run her own business. So far at with her time at Long Beach, Kayla is trying her best to get involved and as a result has joined the sorority Delta Gamma. Kayla does not think that she is necessarily an artist but is still interested in learning about the subject. After seeing the artwork by Brianna Allen, she says she was able to connect to the piece because she found “the date of [her] birthday which helped [her] understand the concept of time” the artist was trying to convey. Kayla also went on to say that that is her favorite thing about art, “finding way to connect”.
